About me

My name is Bryan Winters and I have had the honour of being the Ordinary Member representing the Constituency of Canada since 2022. I’m a Nunatsiavut beneficiary of Inuk and Irish Newfoundland descent from Happy Valley - Goose Bay, Labrador, currently living in Toronto. I’ve learned a great deal during my time in office but I know there’s much more work to be done for our beneficiaries.

Attending the 2025 Bonavista Biennale with artist Mike Massie.

My late father was Wayne “Moose” Winters and his parents were Susan Winters (née Edmunds) and James “Bunny” Winters, from Makkovik by way of Kessessasskiou Street in Happy Valley. My mother is Yvonne Winters (née Crawley) from St. Mary’s Bay, Newfoundland, who spent her entire teaching career in the Big Land, starting in Nain and ending thirty years later in Goose Bay. I have previously lived in Halifax and Montreal, but I have called Toronto home for the better part of the last ten years.
